Fabrication and installation of complete shop-fit of high-end jewellery retailer, including display cases, french dressers, reception counter and tank units.
Jersey Pearl produce classic and unique jewellery. The firm began as a family business out of Jersey and have been making pearl-based fine jewellery for thirty years.
Project originated with interior design company AMD, which Gatton had previously completed work with for Jigsaw Flagship Store in London. Gatton were brought on as designers, fabricators and installers of shop-fitters. Design originated from concept drawings with Gatton joinery producing production drawings, from detailed drawings into fabrication.
Production
Fabrication of five display cases, one curved and two square french dresser units, reception counter (cash desk), tank units and slimline display units were produced.
Units were MDF carcass, with a hardwood exterior, finished with Acid Catalyst Lacquer. Bespoke, solid brass fixtures and fittings added throughout. Glass display frontages included for all display units. Units have been designed to accommodate AMD-selected lighting.
All units and display cases are free-standing, easily movable, allowing a future possible move to a larger shop, or re-work of current shop design.
Installation
All items were fabricated in the Gatton joinery workshop - completed within four-weeks, then shipped and rebuilt in-store - shipping and installation was completed within 24-hours. Design and fabrication allows shop staff to access displays to replace jewellery and re-work displays, with minimum disruption.
Follow-on work
Single tank units in the same style and design have been completed for pop-up stores and concessions stands throughout the UK.
Project completed on-time and on-budget.
